Recently we had an exciting new SBAT sign up, with Aurora Fraley a Year 10 ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Senior Secondary College student starting her career journey in early childhood education, taking up a SBAT trainee position at Cubby House Early Learning and Care Centre in Lavington after a great work experience placement . Aurora going to be studying a CERT III in Early Education and Care via International Child Care College and spend one day per week hands on in the work place.

whilst still completing school, she will also be supported by Sloane WSSC Careers Advisor, Shane HeadStart SBAT program and Pippa Maddocks from MAS National, ensuring a wrap around support structure for SBAT students. Employer Natasha said it has been so wonderful to watch Aurora grow into being the educator. She is a natural with the children in her care. Aurora said her confidence has grown so much in this role. Pippa from MAS National said that the Head Start model provides great opportunities for future pathway opportunities in a supportive environment .
We are very proud of Aurora for exploring this pathway in a growing industry , we thank Natasha , the Cubby House Early Learning and Care Centre team for being an inclusive and a passionate work place for all the students they host.
