The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Arts Festival was held at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Senior Secondary College from the 12th to the 16th of August. The festival, with the theme ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ˜Connect Create and CelebrateÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ™, organised by a committee led by Rachel Saunders of Bethanga Primary, brought together schools from across the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ district giving them the chance to display Visual Art Works and present performances. Over the week 2,500 students performed on our Galvin Hall stage, presenting songs and dances.

The NESPA team contributed with WSSC Visual Communication and Art works (Luis Duncan and Catherine McDougal) as well as a preview of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Middle Years production ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ˜Fight With All Your Might the Zombies of Tonight (Kye Richardson and Luke Harmen), Felltimber Rock band (Scott Shirley), WSSCÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ™s production Firebringer (Lynette Campbell), WSSC Big Band (Lisa Bektash, Julie Taylor and Trevor Cooper), and HuonÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ÊÓƵ™s Guitar Ensemble (Paddy Cautela). All the Federation Primary Schools performances and Visual Art works were also on show. The performances would not have been possible without the support of Keith Miles and his VET Sound Production students who ran the sound and light desk for all the performances across the week.
