Take this opportunity to look back and reflect on Term 4 of the 2023 school year.
House Leader Recap
Lots has happened this Term, we had our first combined schools concert since 2019, we celebrated the achievements of our Year 10 and 11 students at our 2023 Awards Presentation, and even had a Halloween themed parade!
This term we said farewell to our Year 12 class of 2023, who celebrated the end of their 13 years of schooling with their last bell and final celebrations. They formally celebrated the end of Year 12 at their Valedictory ceremony, where significant personal achievements, community, service awards and academic excellence awards were recognised and celebrated.
Our Headstart program took place in the last few weeks of Term 4, giving our future Year 10 students a taste of what student life at WSSC is like and getting them prepared for their senior years. Headstart ended with a joint WMYC and WSSC Colour Run to celebrate the end of the school year.
What a year it has been. I’d like to wish you all a safe and happy holidays and I look forward to representing you in 2024 as one of your College Captains.
